Dear 2013,

I've been working on my resolutions, have you?

# 1-3 : How original - I know.

#3 is actually currently in progress. So far I've got 30 hrs & counting under my belt. It hasn't really been tough until things got busy at work. Cigarettes have always been my destresser and I'm reallllly craving right about now. I've quit a handful of times throughout the past couple of years, but I always go into it expecting to fail so I never really put in any real effort. This time will be different. I know I can beat it - but it's scary nonetheless!

#7 is regarding my proposal planning company - Those Four Words (T4W). I started working on it almost 3 years ago. It's been a slow moving process due to switching business partners and health complications (not with me - with my b.p. & besty Jessica). We were forced to take a step back during the past couple of months but are ready to recommit ourselves to this business. We have a few important steps remaining before we can be totally back up & running, but we're getting there. I want to devote larger amounts of my time to T4W this year, which may mean sacrificing my part time event planning job, which is terrifying. I've been with my part time job for so long it's like my home away from home. My coworkers are my 2nd family and it's honestly a little heart breaking to know I'm going to have to leave them. Not only that, but it'll definitely make a noticeable dent in my income, which is why I need to get to workin' hard on Those Four Words. It's been my dream to be a special event planner and eventually a wedding planner so I need to take this leap sooner rather than later.

Did anybody else notice that I referred to myself in 3rd person for #4? Weird!

What are your 2013 resolutions?

PS - I promise to be back to outfit posts asap. Life has been beyond hectic lately and considering I leave before the sun is up and get home long after it has set, finding some decent lighting has been a joke! I'll find a solution soon enough, promise!
