This week, though, we're checking out AFRICAN VIOLET!
I have to admit...this week was a little bit harder for me. I don't really own any violet pieces but I tried....and tried....and tried to make it work. No luck - I'm sorry guys!
How do YOU wear African Violet?
Hmmmm, ok, I'll be honest. I have made it a rule to shun the colour purple because I was once engaged to a guy who loved purple (that should have been my first hint... ). Anyway, I was on an excursion at Plato's Closet last week (and I think you'd be proud... I scored $300 worth of stuff for $15 with sales, coupons, and my punch card) and I found a violet Diana Von Furstenburg silk tank with sequins embroidered all over it! I'm planning on wearing it on Thursday... we'll have to see what in the world I end up pairing it with! I came across your blog and am your newest follower. I always really enjoy these posts... even if you don't own anything in the shade yourself, you put together great inspiration boards! I'm not really one for wearing colour, but I was recently gifted a sweater in exactly this shade and I'm trying to figure out exactly how to style it. I may have to come back here for inspiration :)
