Tainted romance...

Me and Adam had a debate the other day...are engagement rings purchased from a pawn shop bad luck? I vote yes. To me they're somebody else's misfortunes. These days, it takes a lot to make a marriage work. I don't need anybody else's bad luck on my finger! Maybe I'm overreacting, which I frequently do, so I'd like to hear other opinions on the subject...what do you guys' think??
