Woops - a day late again. Shame on me!
Hellooooo soft & beautiful.

Pantone's Spring 2013 color "Linen" screams femininity! It's a fabulous neutral color that is perfect for spring time & is the perfect compliment for just about every color! And it doesn't hurt that it reminds me of a tropical vacay!

I wore this to work on Saturday. I'm in love with this tank. It's actually pretty long & super flowy but it's tough to wear without tucking it in - but it's tough to tuck in because of the material and shape. Either way - I love it - Especially since it was only $12.95! What a steal.



Good Friday

I got super lucky yesterday at work. After enough harrassing of the higher-ups we were allowed to leave early because it was Good Friday. Hooray! I celebrated by going shopping with one of my best friends. I picked up some awesome finds at JcPenny and H&M. You'll be seeing them soon, I'm sure.

This is what I wore yesterday while out shopping with my besty, Steph! I got a very cute dress from h&m. Keep your eyes open for it - I'm sure I'll be wearing it soon! 

The dress  above that I wore yesterday is one of my favorites. I also have it in pink & white. It's so comfy & easy to style. The only negative thing I have to say about the dress is it's quite revealing for girls that are a little top heavy. Hence why I wore the tank underneath.

I decided today was going to be a comfy day.

I'm pretty much over dress pants right about now.

But the weather is just not cooperating with my desire to wear dresses & skirts.

Where's Spring already??

I know....I really shouldn't complain.

Us Minnesotans have had it pretty good so far this year.

28 degrees will never be good enough for me, though.

 Remember....I'm a Texan at heart.

This morning when I was getting dressed I really wanted to wear this vest so I threw it on but was unsure how I felt about it with the rest of the outfit. [side note: my bf HATES this vest] So I asked the bf if I looked ok and he, of course, said the vest looked dumb. Based on the fact that he wears carpenter jeans, t-shirts that he bought at gas stations and still wears Girbaud jeans.....I decided I should probably do the opposite of what he suggested. Although...I am still on the fence.

Tonight I'm attending a dinner party with a bunch of old friends from high school. I think I might lose the skirt & just wear the dress! I actually have this striped dress in purple & black as well...maybe I'll switch to that one! Either way, I'll be sure to snap a few pictures :)

I had picked this dress up for a friend of mine who was in dyer need of a dress for a wedding she was attending the next day. However....it didn't fit. I had planned on returning it but never got around to it so in my closet it has sat. Today I was in a dress kinda mood and happened to come across it and what do ya know....I LOVE it. Ironically I have a skirt in this exact same pattern.

Again....my typical colors. I've really gotta get a little more gutsy & wear some bright colors! My closet seems to be overrun by blacks, browns, beiges & whites. I'd really love to incorporate some beautiful blues, emeralds & purples into my wardrobe asap. Of course, I'm on a shopping ban at the moment. At least until we move to our new place and buy all of the things that we end up needing once we're there. But after that.....look out color - I'm comin' for ya!

I found this dress last night at Fredricks of Hollywood.

Where, by the way, they some FANTASTIC dresses....

Anywho, it was marked down to $25!

I almost couldn't resist.

But I reminded myself that it's basically a year until I'll need a sequin dress.

This is my go-to, comfy outfit that looks presentable! 

I love the loose sweater look.

It's one of my favs.

I'm actually remixing this outfit today.

I've paired it with a black, studded skinny belt.

Black leggings.

Black pointy-toed pumps.

And a leopard print scarf.

I think I'm definitely going to have to include this top in my 30 day challenge picks. 

Very versatile.
